6. Banyumala double waterfall

The Banyumala Twin Falls are becoming quite popular in northern Bali and one of the top spots in Munduk Bali.

With other popular spots like Gitgit and Sekumpul just a short drive away, Banyumala is an ideal starting point for those staying in Munduk.

Two majestic waterfalls are separated only by rocks separating them from each other and a giant swimming hole below. There's plenty of space for all visitors to swim in the crystal clear waters, and it's the perfect place to swim in and relax after the effortless falls trek.

7. Lake Tamblingan

Lake Tamblingan is a Munduk Bali attraction located high in the middle of the Munduk mountains. Still so unspoiled and cared for by the locals, the lake and the surrounding area are an ideal way to spend an afternoon away from the crowds of tourists in Bali.

Cool, fresh weather is hard to find in Bali. However, at 1,100 meters above sea level, Lake Tamblingan is the perfect place to relax.

8. Bali coffee plantations

From the 1880s until the 1980s, the Munduk hill stations were recognized as the most productive coffee growing area in Bali.

In the 1990s, coffee prices fell significantly. Many farmers have abandoned coffee cultivation, and switched to other crops that bring higher income. This is naturally harmful to the environment, with soil erosion and a drop in groundwater levels.

In 2007, current owners discovered this hidden gem lying on a forest canopy. A dedicated team has cleared old trees and planted shade trees. They planted Arabica coffee seedlings, sourced fresh water, bought the necessary machinery and also created many local jobs that made it a must-  visit Munduk Bali  attraction.
